Education Committee Mission Statement
The mission of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1046 Education Committee is to provide all necessary education support and assistance to insure the chapter’s overall mission is accomplished. The education support will include both internal and external chapter support.
Educational Support Classifications
Internal education support will include all useful and requested education support activities and education assistance for VVA Chapter 1046 members and their families. External education support will be education support for (a) all Jacksonville Community Agencies working to improve the quality of life, growth and development, self respect, and community respect for Vietnam–era and other veterans, and (b) education support and training for Duval county high schools which maintain Junior Reserve Officer Corps (JROTC) Programs in their curricula.
