About VVA Chapter 1046
The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1046 was chartered and approved by the National Organization in October, 2010. Recognizing that there were many veterans of the Veteran Era in Duval County and the surrounding communities, a group of committed individuals applied for and were approved for a Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America. Since its charter date, VVA Chapter 1046 has grown to over 175 members.
More so, since being chartered VVA Chapter 1046 has become an integral part of the Veterans Community in Jacksonville providing support to Veterans and the Community. We are involved in many projects and initiatives to help Veterans of all eras as well as initiatives to support our community.
Duval County and the surrounding areas have been strong supporters of our country. Many of the young men and women from North Florida have served their Country from the time of Andrew Jackson. Jacksonville men and women have always answered the call. If you served our country during the Vietnam era you qualify for membership. Join your brothers and sisters in assuring that you are recognized for your service.
